A well groomed back(log)
Unlike great software developers I have yet to meet a project manager that leaves the office at the end of the day and goes home to work on a tricky project management problem “just because.”
We will go home and work on wrangling our project because we feel the pressure to meet a deadline.
But our ability to be great project managers never comes from a spreadsheet, wrangling a bunch of open tickets or grooming the backlog.
